What's Lollapalooza taste like?

You're not the only one stoked for Lollapalooza.

Pie-Eyed Pizzeria is breaking out two Lolla-inspired pies--available for pickup, delivery and in slices--from Friday to Sunday or as long as ingredients last.

The first specialty pizza is inspired by headliner Nine Inch Nails, dubbed "The March of the Pigs." As you may have guessed, it's a shrine to pork. It will feature black forest prosciutto, hot capicola, pepperoni, garlic and pepperazzi peppers.

The second pie is an ode to Queens of the Stone Age, called "The Desert Sun Pie." It's the vegetarian option, featuring extra virgin olive oil infused with ancho chili peppers, pickled cactus, vidalia onions and an array of red, orange and yellow bell peppers.

A small 14-inch pie will run you $18, and a large (18 inches) is $24. Slices are $5.

"We're doing this because besides pizza, music is our favorite thing," said Pie-Eyed Pizzeria co-owner Evan Muellner. "And you know what? Everyone loves pizza and music, so why not connect the two?"

This is far from Pie-Eyed's first tribute to local music fests and far from its last.

For Lolla last year, Pie-Eyed created the Black Sabbath Pie and the Red Hot Chili Pie. Pie-Eyed also created a Riot Fest pizza aptly named "The Party Pizza," which was made with beer-infused dough. It's a tradition Muellner said the musically rooted pizza joint hopes to continue.

Pie-Eyed Pizzeria is at 1111 W. Chicago Ave.
