Blackhawks holiday video is ... watch

Wait, wait. Brandon Bollig was in an actual movie?

That's the takeaway from an otherwise hilariously awkward video from the Chicago Blackhawks for the holidays, released over the weekend. As every Hawks star takes their turn at reenacting classic films (Kaner plays Anakin Skywalker, Patrick Sharp is Batman, Jonathan Toews is Wolverine), Brandon Bollig actually reprised a real role.

It may come as a surprise to some (it did to us), but Bollig actually starred in 2002s "Defiance," a Western where he plays a 12-year-old who loses a father. In the Hawks video, Bollig shares the screen with his younger self.

The Blackhawks "Magical Movie Collection" is awkward, but the team gets props for originality in their video.
