Game on, Logan Square. Wicker Park's Emporium Arcade Bar announced plans for a second location at 2363 N. Milwaukee Ave. tentatively scheduled to open in late spring.
Though the new location will have the same "Emporium spirit," co-owner Dan Marks said the Logan Square spot will be larger and will focus on "table games" such as foosball, billiards, air hockey and shuffle puck. He sees a market for these type of games, citing the numerous phone calls Emporium receives asking whether they stock them.
Because this second location is approximately two miles from the original Emporium, Marks said it was crucial to provide different games. He also referenced "future locations," meaning gamers will could see even more Emporiums in the future.
