Call him Good Guy Patrick Sharp.
When unsuspecting fans left video messages for Blackhawks players heading to the Olympics, they thought their only thank you was a pre-recorded message from Patrick Sharp.
As they found out and you can see in the video below, he was actually standing a few feet away behind a door, and he took all of them by surprise.
Props to Sharp for being a good sport. A good half of the fans in the video were either recording a message for Patrick Kane, or wearing someone else's jersey. No matter their player loyalty, each and every one of the fans looked genuinely shocked.
The video below was released by the Blackhawks and the Illinois Lottery, hence the large Lotto logo on the video and the fans getting a big old handful of scratch-off tickets at the end.
