Well, Bulls fans, we've made it past the All-Star break. You know what that means: We're halfway through the second season without Derrick Rose and without much hope of the playoffs. Last week's confirmation that Rose won't be back on the court this season made us wonder just what the team has been up to while we were distracted with Olympics, hockey and Olympic hockey. Here's a look at the Bulls' season so far.
The standings
Overall record: 27-25. With Thursday's win over Brooklyn, the Bulls improved to two games over .500 for the first time since Nov. 21.
Indiana has a 13-game advantage on the Bulls, the second-best team in the Central Division. 13 games! Even mighty Miami has only a 12-game lead on the rest of the Southeast Division.
Say it ain't so
Mike Dunleavy and Taj Gibson are the only Bulls to have played in all 52 games this season.
The Bulls' record
Before Rose's injury: 6-5
From Rose's injury through New Year's Day: 6-13
Since Jan. 2: 15-7
Star quality
On Sunday, Noah played in his second consecutive All-Star Game. Artis Gilmore is the only other Bulls post player to be an All-Star two years in a row.
Bulls' dollars per minute played
Joakim Noah: $6,525.57
D.J. Augustin: $658.11
Derrick Rose: $56,696.75

Quotable
"We took some hits early, and on the road, and to more than just Derrick. To climb out of that hole, I think it shows a lot of spirit, a lot of will, a lot of determination."
-Coach Tom Thibodeau on the season so far
Where'd they go?
Sadness, guys. The Bulls' leading scorers this season aren't even on the court anymore. Luol Deng averaged 19 points per game before being traded Jan. 7. Rose was scoring 15.9 before, well, you know.
They'd better be ready
Things won't be easy when the season resumes Wednesday. The Bulls face two of the league's top teams-both on the road-in their next three games:
at Toronto, Feb. 19: The Raptors lead the Atlantic Division and won back-to-back games heading into the break.
vs. Denver, Feb. 21: OK, this one should be easy. The Nuggets are streaky and have won fewer games than the Bulls.
at Miami, Feb. 23: LeBron James. Dwyane Wade. Chris Bosh. No Derrick Rose. Let's not talk about it if we don't have to.
