Patio BBQ Series Debut

Executive chef Scott Manley kicks off a monthly cookout on the 20-seat patio and serves as the featured chef for the debut with a menu of smoked brisket with mac 'n' cheese, braised greens and coleslaw. Moving forward, guest chefs from Trenchermen, The Refinery and other restaurants man the grill. 5:30 p.m. Sunday. $20.

Smoke The Goat Out Of It

This attempt to remove the Cubs "billy goat curse" features an Opening Day house-smoked goat that will yield (after 1 p.m.) braised goat tacos ($12), goat meatball sandwiches ($14) and goat slider trios ($12). Start the day with the acoustic brunch buffet (10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; $25) featuring live music, two beers, breakfast meatloaf, New Holland IPA doughnuts and fritters, pulled pork hash and more. 10 a.m.-2 a.m. Friday.
