Time to drink like it's 1933.
To mark the anniversary of the end of prohibition, The Berghoff is offering 10-cent beers every Monday in April.
The historic resturant has Chicago liquor license No. 1 and 2 for its resturant and bar, which hang prominently at their 17 W. Adams St. location. For the dime beers, patrons must take a photo of themselves and post it either to Berghoff's Facebook page, or tweet @berghoffchicago. The first 30 people to do so every Monday in April will get a brew of their choice in a Berghoff stein for 10-cents.
The restaurant opens at 11 a.m.
Sure, it's a marketing ploy to generate a little buzz for the century-plus year old resturant, but a beer hasn't been that cheap since, well, 1933.
