A semi truck loaded with beer rolled over on the Eisenhower Expressway early this morning, temporarily blocking the inbound lanes of the expressway at Harlem Avenue in west suburban Forest Park.

About 2:30 a.m., the truck driver lost control and the semi rolled over in the inbound lanes, according to Illinois State Police. The semi's driver was not injured, but a passenger in a car that was also involved in the crash suffered minor injuries, police said.

Police shut all inbound lanes after the crash, but the lanes have since reopened. The inbound entrance ramp at Harlem remains closed.

The truck was pulled to the side of the expressway, where the beer had to be unloaded before the vehicle could be righted, police said. The truck was carrying Leinenkugel and Icehouse beer.
