For the 9th consecutive year, Riot Fest will invade Chicago, leaving a trail of chain wallets and black hoodies in its wake.
This year, the festival, held in Humboldt Park Sept. 12-14, will feature a smattering of punk, emo, screamo, rap and good ol' fashioned rock bands. Headliners will include The Cure, The National, Weezer, Tegan and Sara, and Slayer.
If you're ready to get all up in your feelings, you'll be happy to know that both Taking Back Sunday and Dashboard Confessional will be performing this year. The Russian punk collective Pussy Riot will make its first ever appearance in Chicago.
On the local front, expect performances from The Orwells, Archie Powell & The Exports, Show You Suck, My Gold Mask and more.
