"Star Wars: Episode VII" might just have gotten a little more Oscar worthy.
Lupita Nyong'o-who won best supporting actress this year at the Oscars for her role in "12 Years a Slave"-has joined the cast of the next Star Wars installment, directed by J.J. Abrams.
Monday's casting announcement also includes Gwendoline Christie, best known as badass knight Brienne in Game of Thrones. She's also set to appear in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2."
It's unclear what roles Nyong'o or Christie will play in the secretive script for Star Wars, which is set to premiere Dec. 18, 2015.
