Get a taste of Berlin street food ($6-$10) in the Bridgeport bar's parking lot with such locally sourced treats as currywurst-German sausage with Indian spices, which originated in post-WWII Berlin-and the spit-roasted chicken doner kebab, a 1970s German-Turkish creation, plus vegetarian options. 9 p.m.-midnight Saturday.

The former Swim Cafe opens with giveaways and food and drink samples from the breakfast and lunch menus, which retains some Swim favorites while adding new selections. Popular choices include the Tuscan veggie sandwich ($5.49) and chicken salad sandwich ($5.50). 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
