It's not TV, it's the Blackhawks.
Although there hasn't been an official announcement from the Hawks or HBO, it's likely the Blackhawks will appear on HBO's "24/7" along with the Washington Capitals leading up to the 2015 Winter Classic in Washington, D.C.
RedEye caught up with some of the Hawks during their fan convention this weekend to ask about their favorite HBO shows.
Corey Crawford:"Entourage" I guess. "Entourage" is definitely one.
Brandon Saad: I think "Entourage" when it was playing was HBO. That's probably one of my all-time favorites. I had a lot of fun with that.
Brad Richards: There's been many. "Game of Thrones" is on HBO, right? That's my favorite show right now.
Ben Smith: I guess "24/7" would be my favorite show on HBO. It's been cool for the fans to get the behind-the-scenes look at what goes on in our lives and it's always fun for us to watch how other teams travel, how other teams do things. Because here we do it one way, I'm sure other teams do it other ways. So that's probably my favorite HBO show.
Andrew Shaw:"Game of Thrones," right? I just started watching that. I just finished Season 3 and I kind of hated the end of it. They killed off half the [stars]. The "Red Wedding" or whatever it was. It was pretty good.
Bryan Bickell: I watch HBO to watch movies because back in Canada we don't really have anything like this. You come to the states and it's just like movies ... [just put on] HBO. It's awesome to be on the road and you can watch HBO movies all the time.
