Mike Tyson takes Cartoon Network

Like many of you keeping an eye on Comic-Con, I saw the news about the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" footage and have been thinking, "Just show the rest of us already!"

Then I stumbled upon the trailer for "Mike Tyson Mysteries," the trailer for which also debuted this weekend in San Diego.

I have watched it several times and must admit it might actually be watchable.

I can't put my finger on it, but my best guess is it's because they've managed to create a "Scooby-Doo"/"Duck Tales"/"Family Guy"/"The Tick" hybrid (because why not?), and that speaks to me on some level. I think they call it "longing for childhood."

Flying horses, "Terminator"-like robots, something that looks like an alien--it all seems to be fair game, and Tyson appears to "solve" these mysteries by punching things. Of course.

The show debuts this fall on Cartoon Network, with Tyson voicing himself and Norm MacDonald as his raunchy pigeon friend.

Maybe it will be hilarious. Watch the trailer yourself and feel free to tell me I'm wrong.
