Krewella, an Electronic Dance Mess

Chicago EDM trio Krewella is no longer, as Kris "Rain Man" Trindl is now suing his former bandmates Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf for $5 million after allegedly kicking him out of the band after the DJ/producer went to rehab to treat his alcoholism. The group skyrocketed to popularity in 2011 leading to gigs at huge festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra Music Festival and this year's Lollapalooza, leading to recording contract with Columbia Records, who released the group's "Get Wet" last year.

The lawsuit alleges that the sisters and group co-manager Jake Udell conspired to kick Trindl out of the group after he came back from rehab late last year after suggesting he go in the first place.

According to the suit, "It was not Kris' health or sobriety the others were thinking about, it was all about keeping him off the road so Jahan and Yasmine could establish themselves to live audiences as a duo without Kris, so they could eventually erase him completely from Krewella and reap greater financial rewards."

This isn't the first time Krewella has been hit with a lawsuit. In October of last year, the group was sued by former managers Barbara Kennedy and Terry Casey who claimed the trio breached a six-year management contract early in 2012 out of nowhere.
