Flying over the Thanksgiving holiday?
Get ready for crowded airports in Chicago.
The city is expecting nearly 1.8 million passengers to travel through O'Hare International Airport and Midway Airport from Nov. 20 through Nov. 27.
Sunday is projected to be the busiest day of the holiday period with more than 250,000 passengers at O'Hare and more than 78,000 passengers at Midway, according to a news release issued by the Chicago Department of Aviation.
To put travelers into the holiday mood, there will be live music in all terminals at both airports from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
It might help boost their spirits considering that CNBC reported that O'Hare snagged the top spot as the most stressful airport in the U.S. determined by a survey of business travelers.
Among the main complaints: the distance between gates and terminals, long lines, confusing signage, poor service and WiFi, and not enough or crowded bathrooms.
