Welcome to Friday. Everyone's temperature normal?
Of course it is, because you don't have Ebola. But if you've been watching any sort of news lately, you probably think the guy sneezing next to you on the CTA DEFINITELY does.
It was hard to sort through headlines, tweets and alarmist Facebook posts from your aunt about infectious diseases this week, but fear not. That's what the RedEye Rundown is for. Let's break it down.
Fun Fact! Kim Kardashian has had more husbands than the number of people who have died from Ebola in the United States. Despite another confirmed case in New York, it's really not time to panic. In fact, whenever you feel under the weather, please consult our handy Ebola infographic from this week.
>>No. 2: Deep-fried heartbreak
Everybody needs a little TLC. But for a recently dumped Chinese woman, she replaced it with KFC. The 26-year-old heartbroken woman apparently stopped in a 24-hour KFC at a train station and didn't leave for a week. Oh, come on, don't judge. We've all been there.
Joe Cool, aka Papa Joe, aka Vice President of the United States of America Joe Biden was in Illinois this week, rallying his party to get out and vote. And, of course, he couldn't avoid talking about other politician's mothers. Never change, Joe.
Look at that elated fan base! University of North Carolina athletic supporters certainly have reason to celebrate. About 3,000 students at the school received credit for classes that are completely, 100-percent bogus over the last 18 years, that kept them eligible to compete. Yay, academic fraud!
>>No. 5: Renee Zellweger's face
Renee Zellweger looks different. Everyone freak out and share your judgment and opinions, because we all totally want to hear them.
