The Lakeview Chamber of Commerce will be giving away 100 Lakeview store gift cards loaded with $5 at the Southport and Paulina Brown Line stops Wednesday and Thursday.
The chamber will be distributing the gift cards at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday at the Southport Brown Line stop, 3411 N. Southport Ave., and 8 a.m. Thursday at the Paulina Brown Line stop, 3410 N. Lincoln Ave.
The cards are accepted at 75 Lakeview-area businesses. Two of the 100 cards the chamber is giving away will be loaded with $100 instead of $5.
People who miss the giveaway will be able to purchase Lakeview gift cards at shopdinelakeview.com or at the chamber of commerce office at 1409 W. Addison St.
Buyers get a free $20 bonus for every $100 they spend in gift cards. The cards expire three months after activation.
