The Chicago Bulls are now worth $2 billion, double what they were valued last year, Forbes said Wednesday.
The Bulls' value increased the most of any team other than the Los Angeles Clippers, which was purchased by a record-setting $2 billion by retired Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
Chicago's home team is now the third most-valuable NBA team after the LA Lakers, worth $2.6 billion according to Forbes and the New York Knicks, which Forbes estimates are worth $2.5 billion.
The league average is just over $1.1 billion.
