New Year's resolutions can wait. Right now, all you should resolve is to ring in 2013 in style. Whether you're looking to splurge on a splashy hotel soiree, gourmet dinner or clubby dance bash, there are celebrations out there to suit all kinds of party people.

HOTEL BASH
New Year's Eve at The Drake

There will reportedly be 45 bar stations at this swank soiree, which means you won't spend half your night in line waiting for a drink with the other 2,500 expected partygoers. Admission includes six drink tickets (seven for VIPs), with additional drinks running you $1 apiece with proceeds benefiting The Red Cross Superstorm Sandy relief efforts. DJs Rock City and Jernell Geronimo spin house, hip-hop and top 40 hits in three ballrooms (four for VIPs) amid appetizer and dessert buffets, party favors and champagne toast.

GOURMET GLUTTONY
New Year's Eve at Girl & The Goat

Sure, there's beer, wine, a signature cocktail and a champagne toast at "Top Chef" winner Stephanie Izard's West Loop spot, but the real focus stays epicurean with appetizer stations set up around the restaurant and passed apps, too-plus a DJ so that you can work off a few celebratory calories with your best dance moves.

SPEAKEASY SOIREE
New Year's Eve at Untitled

Roar into the New Year 1920s-style! NBC Chicago's Marcus Riley hosts a countdown at this elegant bash where black tie is optional but Prohibition-era wear is strongly encouraged. Admission includes a premium open bar in all six rooms of the speakeasy-esque hangout, plus late-night passed appetizers and a midnight toast. Hit the dance floor to tunes by The Gold Coast All Stars and sets by DJ Flaco and DJ Wags.

STARRY ROOFTOP PARTY
Roof at the Wit

It's the first New Year's Eve since this 27th-floor rooftop bar added a retractable glass roof, so this year, you can dance the night away amid the twinkling lights of surrounding Loop highrises. The posh party also features a premium open bar (9 p.m.-1 a.m.), passed appetizers, champagne toast and beats by Skam Artists DJ Eric D-Lux.

R&B RAGER
New Year's Eve with Teedra Moses at The Shrine

The Maybach Music recording artist performs an R&B set (9:30 p.m.) at this glam shindig featuring passed appetizers (8-10 p.m.), a cash bar, party favors, a champagne toast and music by DJ B-man.

BARBECUE BLOWOUT
New Year's Eve at Belly Q

Resolve to try everything, because it's all here. Chef Bill Kim brings Asian barbecue cuisine from all three of his restaurants-Belly Shack, Urban Belly and Belly Q-under one roof at stations such as the Dumpling Domain, Asian Pizzeria and Dessert Coma, plus an open bar with draft beer, specialty cocktails and well drinks. Also includes a DJ and a sake station.

DJ & DANCING
Paul Oakenfold at The Castle

Who needs noisemakers when the dance floor's already banging? Get down with the Grammy-nominated trance DJ-who's also worked with Madonna, U2 and The Happy Mondays-at the newly renovated River North club that formerly housed Excalibur and Vision. The bash includes a premium open bar (9 p.m.-1 a.m.), an appetizer buffet, five rooms of music and what the organizers are calling a "confetti storm" at midnight.
