How desperate are Fall Out Boy fans for tickets?
If Craigslist is any indication, the answer is very.
Surprise tickets to see the band--which has been on a break for three years--play at Subterranean went on sale Monday morning. Seconds later, so did a host of posts on Craigslist absolutely begging for a chance at admission. How far are fans willing to go to score tickets? Take a look:
Seeking hot chick:"Got through and scored two tickets to the show tonight, looking to take the hottest chick possible, for free of course, no hanky pancky (sic) just sexy arm candy," starts one ad, one of few not asking or offering money for tickets. If you're willing, the post just asks for "your hottest pic," and if you're chosen, the poster says he'll let you know by 6 p.m.
WILL PAY ANY AMOUNT!!!!!: Seriously. This post literally reads "I will seriously give you any amount of money you want."
Caps lock: "NAME YOUR PRICE. I NEED A TICKET. REALLY BADLY. PLEASE. SOMEONE."
Free beer and a show buddy: If you got extra tickets "JUST IN CASE" this poster says they'll pay $50 plus buy you a beer. The poster also includes a "<3" emoticon, and uses the term "show buddies."
Will pay cash: For one ticket, that's right, one ticket, this post promises $425 cash.
Dream to see FOB:"I am a poor college student with a dream to see Fall Out Boy tonight and only $70 to offer in cash but PayPal is preferred!"
