The Gala-a group that brings together a diverse array of artists-hosts a showcase featuring singer Kiara Lanier, poet Marty McConnell, visual artist Ian Phillips and house band Verzatile. The night kicks off with an open mic (sign up at 8 p.m.) where MCs, singers, poets and writers can rock it solo, with the house band or with their own backing tracks. 8:30 p.m. $5 suggested donation.
