It only took days for the racy billboard featuring porn star and former Charlie Sheen "goddess" Bree Olson to be removed.
With the tagline "Because the best job is a b**w job," the billboard went up on Feb. 13 next to Portillo's near the intersection of Ontario and Clark streets.
The ad was for ArrangementFinders.com, a dating site for "women seeking mutually beneficial arrangements."
The billboard was removed over the weekend.
Ald. Brendan Reilly (42nd) said he asked Urban Core Outdoor, the billboard company, to be a good neighbor and voluntarily take down the billboard.
"I just told him it was causing some headaches, that there were some families who were upset about it -- families with young children -- because of its proximity to some of the attractions in that area. He said 'sure,'" Reilly said.
"This was a simple request. The owner of the billboard company was under no obligation to take it down, but he did."
The dating site said it had paid for the billboard to be up for one month.
"We are disturbed by the removal of our billboard," said marketing director AJ Perkins in a statement. "We are not surprised that some people don't agree with the billboard, but as they have a right to complain, the first amendment gives us the right to keep it up."
Calls and emails to Urban Core Outdoor, the billboard company, were not immediately returned.
Chicago Tribune reporter John Byrne contributed.
