Mine eyes have seen the glory.

On July 21, the Pitchfork Music Festival will host its third and final day with a lineup that some are (OK, I am) calling the best day of live music Chicago has ever seen.

Now, I'm sure there have been days where three or more awesome acts have played in succession in Chicago, but they probably happened before I was born and therefore don't matter.

Let's break down the lineup and what you can expect from them. One-day ($50) and three-day passes ($120) are on sale now and can be purchased here.

For the full three-day lineup, check out Matt Pais' story.

Tree
Song you can expect to hear:

Why he's awesome: The local rapper not only has an entertaining style, but a sound that you don't expect when you hear "Chicago rap."

DJ Rashad
Song you can expect to hear:

Why he's awesome: Rashad is a vocal member of a group of DJ's keeping Chicago's juke scene relevant and interesting. Expect to fulfill your "watch awkward white guys dance" quota here.

Blood Orange
Song you can expect to hear:

Why they're awesome: Dev Hynes might be pulling double duty here, as he'll most likely be a member of Solange's backing band (playing Saturday). His personal project Blood Orange is more post-punk than you may be used to, but it still has a solid groove.

Waxahatchee
Song you can expect to hear:

Why she's awesome: I don't know a thing about her other than that she's a one-woman band. One of the best things about music festivals is discovering a new band. Dear Waxahatchee, thank you for expanding my horizons. Sorry I only listen to Master P all day.

Evian Christ
Song you can expect to hear:

Why he's awesome: The producer will not only be lacing us with some strong instrumentals, he'll probably have the biggest contingent of music nerds in attendance for his set. Ever wanted to meet that one blogger you like? This might be your chance.

Autre Ne Veut
Song you can expect to hear:

Why he's awesome: He's making quality R&B music even though it doesn't fit into the narrow ideal of what R&B is "supposed to sound like."

Glass Candy
Song you can expect to hear:

Why they're awesome: Disco ain't dead, you ninnies. They have a fun New Wave sensibility about them, also. (That's an odd sentence, isn't it?)

Sky Ferreira
Song you can expect to hear:

Why she's awesome: She's the more interesting, less high school ABC Family teen comedy version of Taylor Swift.

Foxygen
Song you can expect to hear:

Why they're awesome: They play weird experimental rock.

Chairlift
Song you can expect to hear:

Why they're awesome: I have no idea. Never heard them. RedEye intern Adam Lukach says that they're dope, so there you go. They seem to have a fun synthpop thing going on, so bully for them.

Killer Mike
Song you can expect to hear:

Why he's awesome: He's the best rapper you don't listen to regularly.

El-P
Song you can expect to hear:

Why he's awesome: He's the sixth best rapper you don't listen to regularly. Also, he and Killer Mike will play tunes off of their amazing "R.A.P. Music" album most likely.

TNGHT
Song you can expect to hear:

Why they're awesome: They're going to have you dancing the entire set. Also, you're probably going to be hearing their sound on the next Kanye album-they've been producing some songs for him already and Hudson Mohawke of the group is already signed to G.O.O.D.-so be an early adopter for once.

Lil' B the Based God
Song you can expect to hear:

Why he's awesome: He's #based, he's the weirdest   most intriguing rapper you will ever see, and his set will change your life.

Toro Y Moi
Song you can expect to hear:

Why he's awesome: Feelings, people! His sound is one of the earliest appearances of "chillwave" (don't ask me, I don't know either) and is smoother than a baby's butt.

Yo La Tengo
Song you can expect to hear:

Why they're awesome: You'll need time to go to the bathroom and get beer. Do that during this set. (What? They're boring.)

M.I.A.
Song you can expect to hear:

Why she's awesome: Unpredictabiity. Seriously, the woman does what she wants when she wants to do it.

R. Kelly
Song you can expect to hear:

Why he's awesome: If you seriously need me to explain why R. Kelly closing out Pitchfork is amazing, then you aren't invited to my birthday party anymore. He's the king of R&B, excluding nobody.
