The first major street fest of the summer--scheduled for May 31-June 2 along Division Street in Wicker Park--usually doesn't disappoint with its music lineup on two stages, and this year doesn't look to be any exception.
Do-Division Street Fest organizers released "wave 1" of its music lineup on Thursday, featuring crowd-gatherers like Ariel Pink, Jeff the Brotherhood and Bailiff. More of the lineup is expected to be announced in the coming month:
FRIDAY
Torche (Damen Stage)
Slim Cessna's Auto Club (Leavitt Stage)
Brown Bird (Leavitt Stage)
SATURDAY
Ariel Pink (Damen Stage)
Night Moves (Damen Stage)
Tilly and the Wall (Leavitt Stage)
He's My Brother She's My Sister (Leavitt Stage)
SUNDAY
Gaslamp Killer (Damen Stage)
Beat Connection (Damen Stage)
Jeff The Brotherhood (Leavitt Stage)
Bailiff (Leavitt Stage)
Do-Division is also adding the new "Do-Fashion" as a "fest-within-a-fest" to its lineup of sidewalk sales, local eats and music. The new Do-Fashion corner of the fest will feature fashions and designs exclusively from Division Street merchants, designers and boutiques.
