Current severe weather forecasts for Wednesday evening are calling for possible "baseball" sized hail, classified by the National Weather Service's Forecast Office as 2 ¾ inches in diameter. The office has several size comparisons to everyday objects it uses instead of using ruler measurements to describe severity.
