The CTA said it is reviewing 1,100 public comments about possibly implementing express bus service on Ashland Avenue. The feedback was submitted during a 30-day comment period that ended last month.
The CTA said it and the Chicago Department of Transportation are considering the comments as they work on design of the controversial bus rapid transit project, which calls for dedicated bus lanes and the removal of many left-hand turns on Ashland between Irving Park Road and 95th Street. Another design phase, with more public input, is expected this year.
