Local event production company M.O. Events and U.S. Cellular Field are partnering to present the Chicago Food Truck Fest this summer.
The fest is scheduled from noon to 9 p.m. on June 7 at U.S. Cellular Field (333 W. 35th St.) in Bridgeport. Tickets are now on sale online at chgofoodtruckfest.com and can also be purchased at the gate; general admission is $10, while a $25 VIP ticket includes early admission, free parking and two drink tickets.
Trucks currently confirmed to participate include Taquero Fusion, The Fat Shallot, Chicago Pizza Boss, Gino's Steaks Truck and The Cheesie's Truck. Festival representative Alex Blackshire said that he hopes to book up to 20 trucks and sell 10,000 tickets. One dollar from each ticket will be donated to Feed the Children.
