Bear Grylls can survive in the wild. Can you?

The famed adventurer and NBC are looking for teams who feel they can survive in remote locations around the world. And they're coming to Chicago to find them.

Casting producers for the upcoming NBC adventure reality series (tentatively titled "Get Out Alive," so that might help with your decision to apply) will conduct an open casting call Dec. 1 at XSport Fitness. They're looking for "dynamic" teams of two. These "confident and competitive duos" can be married, siblings, parent/child, best friends, engaged couples, co-workers, dating couples, exes, drinking buddies or pretty much any combination.

You just have to be up for spending time with only your partner in a remote wilderness location, and maybe having to squeeze camel dung for water (or some other gross thing Grylls has shown us how to do on his series "Man Vs. Wild"). In other words, you must have what it takes to survive the wild. (Oh and you should be 21 by Feb. 1, 2013.)

You've got a better chance if you have a special relationship or a great story to tell. You should be adventurous with great personalities, too.

For details and to apply visit the NBC Bear Show site. The series is set to premiere in Summer 2013.

Casting call details:
When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 1
Where: XSport Fitness, 819 South State St., Chicago
