We've got some good news and some bad news.
Good news: A few minutes ago, Donald Glover released his latest project under his Childish Gambino alias. This tape is the first project since his album "Because The Internet..." was released in late 2013. Since then, he's been touring (including a stop at Lollapalooza 2014) and even managed to snag a role in the sequel to "Magic Mike".
The project is helmed by DJ Drama and is an official Gangsta Grillz release, meaning Glover will join the ranks of artists like T.I., Lil' Wayne and damn near every popular rapper from the south since 2002. The tape is is a two-parter. The first part, "STN MTN" is available for streamIn recent interviews, Glover says that "STN MTN" is an homage to Glover's Atlanta heritage.
Bad news: In a recent interview with Complex, Glover revealed that this mixtape will put his long-rumored EP with Chicago's Chance the Rapper on hold for awhile. You can watch that below.
