One person is dead and four others were critically injured tonight in a crash on the Far North Side in the city's West Rogers Park neighborhood.
At least five ambulances were sent to the scene of the crash on the 2900 block of West Howard Street, at the Evanston border, according to Fire Media information.
As of 9:30 p.m., there was one person reported dead and four people reported injured, but their genders and ages were not immediately available.
The injured were taken to Lutheran General Hospital, Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, fire officials said.
